About Us

Simple Comforts, Made by our family.

For over 55 years, the Wilsons have been tending the land and the hives with care. What began in 1970 as Donald and Elsa Wilson’s small market garden—selling fresh produce and honey at the Belleville Farmers’ Market—has grown into a three-generation family tradition. Today, we’re still at the markets you know and love, but with a hive of new offerings: from golden beeswax candles to soothing skin creams, crafted the old-fashioned way: by hand, with care, and no shortcuts.

Rooted in Tradition, Adapted for Tomorrow

When bee die-offs threatened our hives, we refused to let go of the legacy Donald and Elsa started. Instead, we adapted—expanding into small-batch soaps, bath salts, and skincare—so we could keep sharing the gifts of the hive. Through every challenge, one thing hasn’t changed: we’re still 100% Canadian family-owned, and every product we make is touched by Wilson hands.

Three Generations

1970s: Donald and Elsa start selling honey and produce at the Belleville Farmers’ Market.

Next Gen: Their son Gonzalo starts gardening and beekeeping, selling at the Kingston Public Market. His brother Mark continued the family tradition and sold in Toronto until his unfortunate passing.

Today: Mitchell and Ara Wilson still in Belleville, where it all began, along with the 4th generation.
